ELNA website launched!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of the ELNA – Equality Library for Nordic Art Music project website, a vital step toward building an extensive database of works by women and gender-minoritized composers from the Nordic countries. Until the full database launches in 2025, the website will serve as a dynamic platform where supporters can follow the ongoing process of creating ELNA. Through regular updates, we will offer insights into the project’s development and the collaborative efforts uniting cultural organizations across Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

This ELNA project website will feature a variety of inspiring content, including curated favorites lists from key supporters and friends of the project. These lists will highlight exceptional works and offer a glimpse into the rich and diverse repertoire that ELNA aims to showcase. By engaging with the site, visitors can stay informed on ELNA’s progress and immerse themselves in a growing community dedicated to amplifying the voices of underrepresented composers in Nordic art music.
